Supplied in a 400ml CFC free aerosol PTFE - PolyTetraFluoroEthylene - is a non staining dry film lubricant which gives a low friction non toxic, non stick surface and reduces static. An advanced high performance lubricant that is not effected by corrosive chemicals either in liquid or gaseous. It is non-reactive and so is often used in containers and pipework for reactive and corrosive chemicals. Where used as a lubricant PTFE significantly reduces friction wear and energy consumption of machinery.
PTFE spray lubricant has characteristics that are especially suited to conditions experienced in industries such as aerospace, food and pharmaceuticals. PTFE spray (PolyTetraFluoroEthylene) contains a tough translucent polymer which has high resistance to chemical action and has a low co-efficient of friction. PTFE is also suitable for dry lubrication in dusty atmospheres
